RMC took on Queen's University in a Sunday afternoon showdown. The visitors fell to the Gaels 10-0. 

Queen's got off to a hot start, putting two goals in the back of the net within the first three minutes. 

Third-year midfielder Raya Athwal would make it 3-0 in the 12th minute. RMC would use the third goal for a chance to regroup and come together as a team. Forward Jenna Matsukubo would score on a penalty kick to add to the Gaels advantage. The Gaels would add four more in the first half to make it 8-0. 

The Paladins played strong defence after the break, holding the Gaels to two goals in the second half. 

Malina Vallée patrolled the midfield for the Paladins, contributing a strong slide tackle to take away a Gaels scoring opportunity in the first half. 

Habinski, a fourth-year goaltender, made a career-high 27 saves including stopping a Cecilia Way breakaway attempt in the first half. 

The Paladins travel on the road next week as they will be taking on the Laurentian Voyageurs on Sunday, September 25. Kick-off is set for noon.

Le CMR affrontait l'Université Queen's dimanche après-midi. Les visiteuses ont perdu 10-0 contre les Gaels.
 
Queen's a démarré le match avec aplomb, inscrivant deux buts dans les trois premières minutes de la rencontre. 
 
La milieu de terrain de troisième année Raya Athwal a porté la marque à 3-0 à la 12^e minute. Le CMR a profité de ce troisième but pour se regrouper et se redéployer sur le terrain. L'attaquante Jenna Matsukubo a marqué sur penalty pour ajouter à l'avance des Gaels. Ces dernières ont inscrit quatre autres buts pour prendre les devants 8-0 à la mi-temps. 
 
Les Paladins ont été solides en défensive au retour de la pause, limitant les Gaels à deux buts en deuxième demie. 
 
Malina Valleé a patrouillé en milieu de terrain pour les Paladins, réalisant un magnifique tacle latéral pour venir voler une occasion de marquer aux Gaels en première demie. 
 
La gardienne de but de quatrième année Breanna Habinski a réalisé 27 arrêts, un sommet en carrière, notamment sur une échappée de Cecilia Way en première demie.
 
Les Paladins seront sur la route la semaine prochaine, alors qu'elles rendront visite aux Voyageurs de Laurentian, le dimanche 25 septembre. Ce match démarrera à midi.
