Looking to get a result out of their weekend road trip to North Bay and Sudbury, the RMC Paladins did just that Sunday afternoon. Despite trailing 2-0 in the second half, the Paladins stormed back to pick up a single point in a 2-2 draw with the Laurentian Voyageurs.

It did not take long before RMC found themselves trailing in the match. It was in the 14^th minute when Laurentian struck first to open the scoring.

The Voyageurs would carry that 1-0 lead into the half.

Coming out of the break, Laurentian quickly added to their lead in the 49^th.

However, from that point on, the Paladins were able to shift momentum in their favour. In the 51^st minute, Angelica Labelle jumped on a Laurentian turnover and deposited her fourth goal of the season, and second in as many days.

Continuing to battle back, the Paladins made multiple pushes for the equalizer but their attempts were denied. That was until the 87^th minute.

After RMC won a corner kick, Paladins co-captain, Alex Vinzenz sent in a long cross that found the heel of Bellarosa Ternes. Ternes then flicked the ball in to pull RMC even.

With the tie, the Paladins picked up their seventh point of the season.

Next up for RMC will be a trip to Toronto on 27 September to take on the Varsity Blues.

Cherchant à obtenir un résultat dans le cadre de leur weekend en déplacement à North Bay et Sudbury, les Paladins du CMR sont parvenus à leurs fins dimanche après-midi. Malgré un retard de 2-0 en deuxième demie, les Paladins ont comblé l'écart pour signer un nul de 2-2 et récolter un point face aux Voyageurs de l'Université Laurentienne.

Il n'a pas fallu longtemps avant que le CMR accuse un retard au pointage puisque Laurentienne a ouvert la marque à la 14e minute pour donner le ton.

Les Voyageurs ont maintenu cette avance de 1-0 jusqu'à la mi-temps.

De retour de la pause, les hôtes ont rapidement ajouté à leur avance à la 49e minute.

Cependant, à partir de ce moment, les Paladins ont dicté le rythme du jeu. À la 51e minute, Angelica Labelle a profité d'un revirement de Laurentienne et a inscrit son quatrième but de la saison et son deuxième en deux jours.

Maintenant la pression, les Paladins ont créé plusieurs occasions d'égaliser le pointage, mais sans y parvenir. Il a fallu attendre à la 87e minute. 

Après le coup de pied de coin du CMR, la cocapitaine Alex Vinzenz a envoyé un centre au deuxième poteau qui a atteint le talon de Bellarosa Ternes. Cette dernière a tiré le ballon dans le fond du filet pour créer l'égalité.

Ce match nul permet aux Paladins d'afficher sept points au classement cette saison.

Le prochain match du CMR sera le samedi 27 septembre à Toronto face aux Varsity Blues.
