It was a tough start to the 2024 regular season for the RMC Paladins Saturday afternoon in Toronto. Opening their season against the Varsity Blues, RMC fell 8-0.
The Blues were able to take control of the contest early on, scoring twice in the first nine minutes of the match.
Finding the back of the net once more prior to the half, Toronto would take a 3-0 advantage into the break.
Continuing to find their groove offensively, the Blues would tally five more goals in the second half, with three of them coming in the final four minutes of the match.
For the Paladins,
Jun Lee and
Chris Knock each registered a shot, with Knock's attempt counting as a shot on goal.
RMC will quickly return to action, as they look to bounce back Sunday afternoon in Peterborough, Ont., against the Trent Excalibur.
